Every woman wants to look beautiful on her wedding day. She would, however, be disappointed if she were to depend on cosmetics to bring sudden changes in her. Cosmetics help hide and cover, but make up artists like myself want you to feel your best from the inside out. If you have less or nothing to hide you will feel even better about your special day.
It is, therefore, important that you look after yourself at least two months prior to the wedding day. Facial once a week will clear the complexion within two months. If in your town you do not have the facility of a beautician, use homemade facial masks. But, do not forget to put cotton wool swabs soaked in rose water on your eyes.
Do a facial massage with face cleansers or deep-cleansing milk lightly at night before going to bed. Regular massage gives natural glow to the skin, because massaging helps in proper blood circulation which in turn, makes the skin soft, healthy and attractive. After deep cleansing, apply nourishing cream and massage lightly a little. In morning, sprinkle icy-cold water from the fridge. Do not use soap if the skin is dry. It will crack and leave white patches. Instead, use moisturizer. If the skin is oily, make a paste with oat flour, add lemon juice and rub well. It will prevent pimples.
One month before wedding stop eating fried food. Drink honey-mixed lemon water first of all in the morning before taking any other drink.
Of course different things work for different girls, so please contact a professional with any questions or concerns you have.
When I worked at Ulta I enjoyed several of the skin care lines. Dermalogica is the line they use on clients when you go to get a facial. You won't be disappointed. Face mapping is also available. Once you have your first visit you can get your face mapped. This helps for future appointments to know what is happening with your skin. Plus samples are always a nice bonus!
